Join us for a screening of All We Imagine as Light, a moody, melancholic look at working-class life in modern India that won the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival 2024. The film follows three nurses in Mumbai: Prabha, who hasn't heard from her arranged-marriage husband in a year; Anu, whose relationship with a Muslim man is challenging in her Islamophobic community; and Parvaty, a widow whose shanty-town home will soon be demolished to make way for luxury apartments. When Prabha and Anu help Parvaty relocate to the coastal village where she was born, they each have an opportunity to get what they really want.
