Pelican City Swords, a HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) troupe, presents a demonstration of historical swordfighting featuring 14th century Italian longsword style at the downtown library.
Attendees will watch members swing swords at each other (leave your own swords at home, please!). Interested in learning? Talk to a Pelican City Swords member about joining the troupe — membership is open to anyone 16 and up with no experience necessary.
