Oregon's Snake War: An Introduction

The Klamath County Museum presents its first set of lectures on the Snake War, a conflict that engulfed much of eastern Oregon in the 1860s, including part of what became Klamath County.

Museum curator Matthew Voelkel will deliver the opening lecture with a "Snake War 101" overview. He will be followed by Dr. Marc Carpenter, a professor of history at Jamestown University.
