Join Klamath Basin Behavioral Health (KBBH) staff for the fourth session of The Aging Journey seminar series, held Thursdays at 10 AM at the downtown library. This standalone presentation on advocating for your medical needs covers how to get various specialists up to speed on your medical history and get the treatment you need.
Presenters Patricia "Patty" Card and Kelli Bowers are behavioral health specialists with combined decades of experience in human services and the mental health needs of older adults. Card has worked at KBBH for more than 35 years; Bowers has worked in human services and social work since 1984 in Utah and Oregon.
Each seminar can be attended independently. Other sessions in the series cover Wills and Trusts (Sept. 3), Aging-Related Physiology (Sept. 10), and Dementia & Safety at Home (Sept. 24).
