Kids ages 12 and under get a taste of gardening to celebrate spring. This is part two of a two-part bean-growing adventure. On May 7th, participants selected and sprouted a bean (Strike Snap Bush Bean, Provider Bush Bean, or Lima Bean) in a sandwich bag. On May 21st, we meet again to plant the tiny baby bean plants into biodegradable pots to work on their roots.
Note: To get the full experience, it is important to be present at both events. Space is limited; registration is required.
